CHANGING ROLES, NEW REPRESENTATIONS
Central and East-European Film Festival
May 9, 1999 - May 11, 1999
OEroekmozgo Theatre (Budapest, VII., Erzsebet krt. 39.)
The transitions in the countries of Central and East Europe over the
last decade have fostered a reconsideration of gender roles and
concern for social and other inequalities between the sexes within the
broader cultural context. This film festival features productions from
the region which portray these transitions from a gender perspective,
and examine the possiblities of continuous transition in all aspects
of society.

On the evening of November 20, 1811, the famous German poet Heinrich
