This course will use comparative law techniques to address
topics including:

        -- Women's constitutional rights and status under the law
        -- Women as participants in the new political system
        -- Women in the workplace
        -- Family law, social law, and the division of labor in
           the household
        -- Rape, sexual harassment, wife battering, and other
           forms of violence against women
        -- Women's reproductive rights
        -- Feminist theories of law

This course is particularly recommended for those who are
interested in:  women's legal status, comparative law, equality
and anti-discrimination law, as well as those wishing to
practice more sophisticated and accurate use of English language
legal terminology.
