Subject:                [DIGLIB] digitization of valuable holdings of libraries
in the Zips region

Dear colleagues,

may we draw your attention to the digital reconstructions of rare
and historically valuable imprints and manuscripts belonging to
the holdings of the Lycial Library in Kezmarok (Slovakia) and some
other libraries in this region ( Kollegialbibliothek Presov,
Seminarbibliothek des Zipser Kapitels Slowakei) which have been
incorporated into our web resources. We now list them along with
our other digitization projects:

A new navigation enables comfortable page turning.

The digitization was carried out in the course of a project about
the history and culture in the Zips region. It has been a cooperation
between the Bielefeld University Library and the National Library of
Slovakia together with other Slovakian organizations and
associations.

In addition to the digitization we have build up an online catalogue
which allows the unified search across the complete collections of
the libraries that have been involved.
