<p style="font-family:".AppleSystemUIFont""><span style="font-family:UICTFontTextStyleBody">I’m a licensed mudlark on the River Thames in London. I found this curious bone object on the south bank of the river recently. It’s hollow and after cleaning out some mud and grit, a small carved bone plug came loose. This can be removed and slotted back in easily. I think the dark colour would suggest something at least a couple of hundred years old. If anyone has any ideas on what it might be, please let me know!</span></p>
