<div dir="ltr">Dear all, <div><br></div><div>I have a mystery piece of what seems to be an offcut from a long bone, possibly manufacturing waste, but perculiarly appears to have been worked. </div><div><br></div><div>I am struggling to find any comparanda and wonder if anyone has come across something similar? </div><div><br></div><div>It is an unstratified find from an evaluation trench in the <i>vicus</i> of the Roman fort in Malton, North Yorkshire. Please see attached photographs. </div><div><br></div><div>Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. </div><div><br></div><div>With best wishes, </div><div><br></div><div>Jade McCabe</div></div>
