Enclosed here is a part of our forthcoming chapter on objects and waste from Ipswich excavations, <br>
due out in 2019, which explains the use of burr measurements for early medieval urban sites. There <br>
is limited work of the same type on prehistoric assemblages from Grimes Graves and Stonehenge. I <br>
have added the main references for the early medieval analyses.<br>

Any comments at all about these analyses would be very gratefully received. <br>
