I have published some full-sized early Anglo-Saxon bone knives recently but the more relevant texts
<br>
relate to the post-medieval period. There is a bone knife in the enclosed text on the post-medieval
<br>
objects from Wharram Percy, and that refers to the work of van Vilsteren, and particularly his
<br>
intriguing text on Dutch bone butter knives: <br>

This miniature knife made of bone has been recovered from a child's grave in a chapel of a

monastery and is dated between 1470 and 1572 AD.<br>
<br>
Does anyone know of any parallells or has seen similar finds of miniature objects as grave goods?

Or perhaps any other suggestions/literature?<br>
