Below this field there is a late Neolithic site, of which a small part was excavated in the 70’s of the last century. All three artifacts are made of ulnae (two right and one left) of brown bear (<i>Ursus arctos</i>). Two of them are chisel-like tools, one looks more like a piercer. As far as I know, they are unique for the Netherlands; normally these kind of tools are made of bones of deer, cattle, etc.</span><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'><o:p></o:p></span></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"'>Alice Choyke and François Lanoë already sent me information about similar finds from Slovenia and the USA.
