<div>If you go to my Academia.edu site the article on materials from Jaszdoza contain (rough) sketches of such objects. There are good drawings of typical heavy duty antler beam and burr tools from Pakozdvar but without the decoration although there was an example from that site. Some day, if I can ever retire, I plan to write and article on these decorated pieces with nice photos. When I looked at some of these materials I did not have the money for a camera (pre-digital age) and did not have enough clout to ask the museum photographers to take pictures for me. Now I have the camera but no time.</div>

<div>We have these antler objects in Hungary as well from the Middle Neolithic until the first part of LBA. As the beam end breaks the hafting hole gets moved up towards the medallion. Sometimes the beading is completely removed, sometimes it is partially removed and sometimes left intact. The eye time is sometimes cut flush to the surface of the beam and sometimes the base is preserved by the makers. Some of these objects from the MBA even have designs carved into them and the use where on such pieces suggests they used very differently than their unadorned cousins.</div>

<div class="gmail_default" style="FONT-FAMILY:trebuchet ms,sans-serif">This pendant from Divostin is quite small, but my first guess is that you have the basal end of some perforated tool, correct me if I am wrong, but I guess this could have extended quite a lot at the broken part, and just the form looks very much to the butt ends of stone tools, almost as if it is a copy in antler. Other guess is that it is a handle - I've seen cylindrical handles made from antler both in Serbia and Bulgaria, partially or completelly hollowed cancellous tissue on a beam segment. <br></div>
