Wilmott, Birdoswald. Excavations of a Roman fort on Hadrian’s Wall and its successor settlements: 1987-1992, English Heritage Archaeological Report 14, London, 297-8) and here is a copy of that text, which (unsurprisingly) uses Kruger and Clarke. Also a distantly related Irish example from an Iron Age context at the lovely site of Ballyboy 1 in County Clare, Ireland, also enclosed here, about as far west as it is possible to go in Europe.
