The cetacean bone found in VB is a single centrum of a vertebra from a small cetacean , there are also tortoise (Testudo sp) and lizards (Agamidae) (Manne 2010 PhD thesis).<br>

<p>What kind, large as whales or tiny as dolphins ? Which parts ?<br>

Listen : I mill/mould since two-three weeks this : I feel as between tortoise and porpoise, about the same as George Orwell writting for a music "something inbetween Clementine and the Cucaracha".<br>

You first picture lets me remember of the interior of dermic plates of turtle, and the opposite view, "rhythmed" lets me think that odotoncets are concerned whith a strong effect of seasonnality...<br>
