Sonia is right - it would be interesting to check if wear signs or<br>
striations can point towards work with tougher material such as fish<br>
scales (Poplin's suggestion) or softer material such as fibers or wool<br>
(if it was a kind of wool comb or a tool used to soften or straighten<br>
fibers).<br>
