<DIV>Hello Marloes,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I’m aware of one decent Romano-British example from Winchester, details of
which are in the enclosed pdf file, together with a small text on purse rings
from the latest Spong Hill volume (an absolute must for anybody dealing with the
5th century AD) and a purse ring from Eriswell in Suffolk, put there largely to
show that these are much larger objects. Hope this helps,</DIV>

<DIV>Dear Maroles,</DIV>
<DIV> We have several examples from a mummy grave
excavated on the outskirts of Aquincum. There are smaller examples from graves
of the Western cemetery of the Military in Aquincum. I think this must be
quite a common bracelet type for the late roman period at least.</DIV>

<DIV>Cheers,</DIV>
