<div>Because last week I was making the pendant above, the bone cross pendant in your first email I was looking carefully to your picture. I would like to know what the thickness is of the cross in the middle and how big is the hole in the pendant (is there one?).</div>
<div>I know of a bone cross found in Belgium in Mechelen and that is used in a rosary. Please look at my website <a href="http://www.bikkelenbeen.com/">www.bikkelenbeen.com</a> in the religion part and then rosary or paternoster. It is found in a 15th century setting.</div>

<div><br>This bone cross was originally found in a confusing mix of contexts and <br>based on that data could be placed anywhere from the 8th - 13th C.<br><br>Stylistically it is similar to the Saxon pectoral crosses of the 7th-9th C, <br>
