Analogies?<br> </font> </div> <div class="y_msg_container"><br>Hello everyone,<br><br>Today at rescue excavations at the Tursiannotko multi-period (Viking Age - 19th Century) site in Pirkkala, South-Central Finland a fragment of a beautiful, hollow, perforated bone artefact was found from a mixed-deposit context. The best suggestion for its function so far is a musical instrument, ie. a bone flute.
