Thank you for your responses, this is very helpful. The 14C dating and the dating of the decoration of this piece apparently differ about 100/150 years or so. <BR>
<BR>
I am especially looking for complete decorated antlers indeed, but also antlers with perhaps similar decoration or from the same period. I just received permission to send you one of the photographs, it is an amazing object! I have to ask you however not to use this photograph in any way, because the photographs are soon send to the press and the piece will be published soon.<BR>
