In my current work I have also come across anothers in ivory at the Hull and East Riding Museum, Kingston-upon-Hull. The Hull Museums collections can be viewed via <a href="http://www.hullcc.gov.uk/museumcollections/">http://www.hullcc.gov.uk/museumcollections/</a> . Search on ‘ comb’. You will get 178 records of combs, all periods, materials and styles, 87 of them with photographs. I think I have seen most of the ivory double sided combs so if you search on ‘ivory comb’ you will find 12 examples and the material ID should be correct.
