<div>I just want to remind everyone that although antler has to be brought to a site though human intercession the deer themselves have no trouble producing beautiful smooth crowns like these. the walls of the Agricultural Museum in Budapest are filled with trophies that have lovely crowns just like these. If as it seems the surfaces are somewhat eroded you are going to have a tough time showing that this object was ever used as a p'ick' or some such object. However, I am open to other ideas...</div>

<div><font face="Arial">Someone I work with at the Gwynedd Archaeological Trust has had this piece of antler shown to them that was recovered from peat deposits on Tal y bont beach Llanaber, Wales. He's got to give it back to the owner soon but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions/comments. </font></div>
