Guthrie, published as "Osseus projectile points: biological considerations affecting raw material selection and design among paleolithic and Paleoindian peoples". in Animals and Archaeology 1: Hunters and their prey. Eds. Clutton-Brock & Grigson. BAR 163. Oxford, 1984.
Also there is aan experiment by G. Albrecht, "Testing of materials as used for bone points of the Upper Palaolithic" in H. Camps-Fabrer ed. "Méthodologie appliqué a l’industrie de l’os préhistorique. Deuxième colloque international sur l’industrie de l’os dans la Préhistorie". Paris: CNRS, 1977

Some Palaeolithic bone projectiles may be found in Joachim Hahn's book E"rkennen und Bestimmen von Stein- und Knochenartefakten. Einfürung in die Artefaktmorphologie". Archaeologica Venatoria 10. Verlag Archaeologica Venatoria. Institut für Urgeschichte der Universität Tübingen, 1991.

There is a paper from Corneliu Beldiman in "From hooves to horns, from mollusc to mammoth" from WBRG Talinn meeting on bone projectile points from Romania and also some of them are published in his book (end even bone projectile point found "in situ" - embedded in some poor soul's vertebra in Schela Cladovei) - Corneliu Beldiman, 2007. Industria materiilor dure animale în preistoria României. Resurse naturale, comunităţi umane şi tehnologie din paleoliticul superior până în neoliticul timpuriu. Bucureşti.
Maybe Corneliu has something to add?

I had some bone projectile points from Early and Middle Neolithic sites in Serbia in my Phd - but still unpublished, although I posted a photo of one projectile point with animal head from Donja Branjevina here on the bonetools list some months ago. If you need those as well, I may send you my dissertation - but you are probably not that crazy, since it is in Serbian.

and I think some papers may be found in Heidi Knecht's edited book, Projectile technology, 1997, NY.

best regards , Selena
