Thank you very much indeed, both publications and comments are helpful. <br>About antlers - strange enough, the collection from Starčevo-Grad site in the National Museum in Belgrade has just few antlers, while the collection from National Museum in Pančevo has dozens of very beautiful pieces. I am inclined to think that the variations in number of antlers are regional differencies, not chronological ones. <br>

region. Yes, more are found in the Iron Gates than elsewhere, but there are others

Alice, here are some additional photos of the antler. I think that the rose was
on the broken part, I have also two other bases of shed antlers, with similarly
cut tines, but without this large portion of beam, and with working surface on
the antler base. <br>
Starčevo is also poor with antlers in general - with the exception of sites
from Iron gates - but then I found almost 20 antler objects from Starčevo in
Pančevo museum, all very carefully worked. <br>
