about Poland but the meetings were really nice. Not so fancy as in France but
more homey with many more Poles of course. I have heard a nasty gossip that
Isabelle only wants to pick selected papers from the participants to publish.
I am totally against this. I wrote to her but she never responded. Jorg keeps
saying he will publish the Basel volume and Petar wrote an honest letter about
his PhD and volume delays. He will eventually publish but now he has a little
matter of the eminent birth of child to slow him
down.<BR> We missed you. The next meetings will be in
Salzburgh and I have already yelled that our American colleagues could not
come because of the late timing so the meetings in 2 years will be earlier and

mainstays of the Worked Bone Research Group is its status as an official
working group of the International Council of Archaeozoology. ICAZ
provides vital name recognition internationally and will be generally
important to us in the future for finding funds for publishing and
