[Bonetools] WBRG website updates Oktober 2025

Dear WBRG members,

Olivér Borcsányi and Günther Karl Kunst  <mailto:guenther.karl.kunst at univie.ac.at>provided two nicely ornamented Roman crane (Grus grus) tarsometatarsi for this month's bonetool:

In our recently submitted article for the ICAZ 50th anniversary volume Alice Choyke mentioned that the 1990 ICAZ conference held in Washington DC was the first ICAZ conference to host a session, solely dealing with worked bone, antler, tusk and shell assemblages. This was even before the first and constitutional meeting of the WBRG in London 1997. I have added this information to the list of meetings at https://www.wbrg.net/meetings <https://www.wbrg.net/meetings> but I don’t know anything about its contents. I would be glad if anybody could provide me with further information on this meeting, e.g. the exact date, organisers, venue, program, photos, related publications etc. since I would like to add this to the website.
