[Bonetools] Antler vs. horn?

Dear all,
I have an object that's either antler or horn (Swedish uses the same word for both, unfortunately) and I have not enough experience of archaeological horn that I'm comfortable to attempt to determine the material. It's a medieval inkwell, so could be from either. I hope someone here will be able to help me.
