[Bonetools] Thames Bone Object

Hello all, 




Thank you for welcoming me into the group! 




I’m a licensed mudlark on the River Thames in London. I found this curious bone object on the south bank of the river recently. It’s hollow and after cleaning out some mud and grit, a small carved bone plug came loose. This can be removed and slotted back in easily. I think the dark colour would suggest something at least a couple of hundred years old. If anyone has any ideas on what it might be, please let me know! 




I’ve attached photos and please see the attached video for a more in-depth look and a demonstration of how the plug fits in place.
