A quick email for now: I already attached the Billamboz that I have in pdf.
I have the Petrequin and Poplin books at home. If no one on the list offers you the pdf's tell me, I'll just have to find the time to scan them and send them to you.
I don't have the Reinhold Boschbut b ut you should have no trouble getting it from your German colleagues.
If I think of any other paper, I will tell you.

Dear Colleages!
How are you?
I am looking for bibliographical references for the technique ?sciage au fil sabl??.
As far as I know, there are some references to the documentation of this technique in some European contexts of different chronologies:
on deer antlers from sites on the France-Switzerland border during the Neolithic -Billamboz, 1977
a specimen from Gonvillars -P?trequin, 1970
and the observations made by R. Bosch (1938) on materials from Seematte,
outside Europe: Mr Poplin documented the technique on a hippopotamus tooth from the Egyptian Predynastic period (Poplin, 1974).
I am looking for these references in pdf, because I only know them from other citations.
If anyone has them or knows them, could you kindly send them to me in pdf format please? I need them but I can't find them?
On the other hand, if you know of other cases (apart from those I have listed above) or have documented it in your own material I would be happy to share impressions!
