By the way: there always comes a time when you have to ask yourself "I found a whale at my site, what should I do with it?"
Here is a list of suggestions that just came out: https://authors.elsevier.com/c/1etZw-4PS2FHx

would it be possible to use this phantastic artefact as bonetool of the month on the WBRG website the other day? And if so, would you mind to write a short paragraph about it containing the basic information about context, dating, raw material, etc.and maybe publications if already available?

Best

Hi everyone,
This axe head came up on a burial site of probable medieval date in Ireland. It was found among animal bone and disarticulated human bone, and seems to be made of antler.

I am looking for any parallels that people might know of. And also anyone's thoughts on function, as it would seem to me that it would have little use for woodworking or for butchery - but I am open to correction on this.

Thank you all, as always
Fiona
