Dear Marta,
I have chosen the peculiar objects you sent to the Bonetool list in 2016 as this months bonetool using the information you sent in your mail below.
See https://www.wbrg.net/bonetool-of-the-month-archives/ <https://www.wbrg.net/bonetool-of-the-month-archives/>
Except for adding the species identification visible on the picture and a bit of smoothing the English, I did not change any content of your message. Has there any new evidence appeared in the meantime or would you like me to add or change something in the wording of the text (e.g. a more precise dating)? Are the items published in the meantime and if so, can you pass me the reference?
With kind regards.
Christian

> Dear colleagues,
> I am studying worked bone pieces from Alto Chacón an Iberian site (Iron Age) in Teruel, Spain. I have found these objects and I’m not sure about its function. Its have been made on a cattle or sheep metacarpus or metatarsus. I don’t’ have any piece like these in other Iberian sites. Does anyone have any suggestions?
