Dear everyone,
I'm new to this group, thank you for accepting me!A friend and colleague of mine reached out to ask about some discoveries at a Wietenberg cemetery at Fântânele, Romania (Bistrita-Nasaud County), from the Middle Bronze Age. A bone artifact much like a belt (see attached picture), and something they call organic material.  Unfortunately, all I have now are these photos. My question is, have you ever seen such an artifact? If yes, where and from what period? And do you think it's possible to tell what animal or body part it belongs to? And about the organic material, does anyone anywhere analyze these? Can you help out with their contact information?Thank you in advance for any opinions! Kind regards,Imola
