[Bonetools] Ear ornament

I made a visit to a small local high school museum in Lopburi province, east-central Thailand today and found this interesting item. I believe it is a marine shell ear ornament dating to late prehistoric period, ca. 2000-2500 BP, in the context of Southeast Asia, and is a grave offering. I wonder if anyone has seen similar item.
