Dear Colleague
I have few queries, please help me out :
1. Is there any specific word available as synonym to "worked bone specialist" such as osseouslist. So we can use that word in our writings or communication instead using full term "worked bone specialist", as other decilipine normally used like:
in Archaeology we used Archaeologist in Anthropology we used Anthropologist in Ethnography we used Ethnographer
in Epigraphy we used Epigraphist in Numismatics we used Numismatist and so on.
If such word is not available than can we start using a word for "worked bone specialist" such as osseousologist or osseouslist...so after some time it can be easily recognized by other disciplines and common people. And in future it can be added up into dictionaries (if we will be lucky).
2. Here I am attaching several images of bone tools found from an Iron Age site (Indor Khera) of Upper Ganga Plain. These tools were found from layers of 100 BCE - 300 CE period. These tools have very interesting tips which were mainly formed out due to use-wears. Please let me know if you come across to similar kind tools and for what purpose they were used.
