[Bonetools] finds from Israel

Dear all,
In the last issue of Qadmoniot (unfortunately published in Hebrew) some finds which may interest you appeared. Attached are:

1.       The table of contents in English, with the 2 papers quoted here marked;

2.       Photo of a bone pin from Tel Kedesh in the Upper Galilee (page 20), part of a hoard dated to the Hellenistic period, ca. mid-2nd cent. BCE. An English version of this paper you can find in AJA 121 (2017). The hoard also included glass astragali.

3.       Photo of bone and ivory objects from the "House of the Dioscuri" in Caesarea Maritima (page 41), dated to the 1st-until the beginning of the 3rd cent. CE. This splendid urban villa contained, inter alia, a room which served as a bone tools workshop. These objects have been published by me in BAR IS 1457, 2005.
