This is almost identical to an example from a Late Norse context at
Freswick Links, Caithness (c1100-1300 AD) published in Batey BAR 179
Freswick Links Caithness: Reappraisal of the Late Norse Site. There
are examples from Gamlebyen in Oslo if I recall correctly. Whalebone I
presume.
