Thanks for your reply. It's most welcomed.

Your information goes on the way of showing the diversity of tools made by
using the same type of raw material (in this case cattle metapodials). I'd
be very interested if you could give me Sarah Koppelmann's email (she has
an Academia.edu page, but contacts through it don't always succeed). If, by
any chance, you also manage to grab John P. Zeitler's contact, it would be
great. I would ask them if they have any publication on the subject in
other languages besides German (I took some classes years ago, but I'm so
rusty now that trying to make sense of long text is close to impossible...).

And, yes, the images you linked to are fantastic.
