Subject: [Bonetools] dermal denticles
Dear colleagues,
A friend of mine is studying the fish remains recovered at a medieval site located in England and she has found some dermal denticles (ray or shark) that appear to have been perforated (perhaps to make pendants or buttons). Is somebody aware of something similar?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards,
Idoia
