[Bonetools] Any idea about this function of this artifact ?

Dear Chris,

I would guess this is an antler piece from which a disk was drilled out or
extracted. The resulting disk would look like a round "sandwich" of compact
matter and spongy bone in the middle.  Something sort of like the images I
attach.
