Subject: Re: [Bonetools] Bone parallelepiped dice

Hello Chiara,

I have published a text on one parallelepiped die from a 4th-century context at Birdoswald on Hadrians Wall (The Parallelepiped Die, in T. Wilmott, Birdoswald. Excavations of a Roman fort on Hadrian’s Wall and its successor settlements: 1987-1992, English Heritage Archaeological Report 14, London, 297-8) and here is a copy of that text, which (unsurprisingly) uses Kruger and Clarke. Also a distantly related Irish example from an Iron Age context at the lovely site of Ballyboy 1 in County Clare, Ireland, also enclosed here, about as far west as it is possible to go in Europe. If anybody has a copy of the magnificent Kruger article I would love to see it as well, hope these are of some use,
