[Bonetools] Tooth root a pendent?

Dear Sabine,
It looks like a typical dog tooth pendant/bead to me. Most of our BA
dog tooth bead/pendants are drilled closer to the end of the root. Please
don't forget it could also have been sewn on clothing or on bands or strung
on necklaces. What is a little funny is that the manufacturer did not try
to thin the root at all before perforating it as far as I can see. The
surface seems quite eroded. In this period and in your part of the
world,what is the proportion of perforated seal to dog tooth pendant/beads?
