Dear colleagues,
Our session, entitled "Global markets and local
manufacturing: wool production and trade" at this year’s EAA-MERC
conference, which will take place in Glasgow, 2-5 September 2015, is now open
for online submission of papers and posters, until the 16th of February.
The session seeks to bring together interdisciplinary
archaeological research looking at the technology and trading networks of wool
craft in their social, economic and political contexts. The aim of this session
is to explore a variety of socio-economic aspects between the Roman period and
the Early Modern Era, focusing the attention on to large-scale production,
manufacturing and trade of wool and cloths.
Please feel free to contact any of us to discuss any
ideas you might have, or else submit papers directly online at http://eaaglasgow2015.com/call-for-papers/.
The session outline can be found at: http://eaaglasgow2015.com/session/global-markets-and-local-manufacturing-wool-production-and-trade/
Also, please feel free to forward this message to any
colleague you think he/she may be interested in contributing to this
session.
Kind regards,
