Dear Marloes,

There is a book Bos Primigenius and the Bone Spoon J Nandris on the question of spoon Near East and Southeastern European Neolithic (1974).
Look also at Tallinn WBRG conference book, Technical data, typological data: a comparison with spoons from Bulgaria. It is a common motive that links Turkey and southeastern Europe. On my academia edu pages, you will find some other papers related to bone spoons.
Kind regards,
Isabelle

We had about two dozens of them in the last years campaign at Cukurici Höyük and I have seen also recently excavated examples from Barcin Höyük. However, I do not know any published examples at present although I am sure there must be some. The complete spoons were rather long, more than 20 cm sometimes. Where is that find from?
