In case any of you ivory people have the answer - it is actually an
interesting question in terms of amounts of raw material available from an
Atlantic walrus tusk. Please send answers back to both the WBRG site and
james Barrett!

Best,
Alice

Subject: [ZOOARCH] walrus tusk and alveolus measurement data?
To: ZOOARCH at jiscmail.ac.uk

Dear friends and colleagues,

I would be grateful if anyone can direct me to literature regarding
measurements of Atlantic walrus tusks, particularly cross-section
measurements of the proximal end or of the alveolus.

Many thanks and best wishes,

James
