[Bonetools] Roman bone pin work waste

Lena,
I know I'm a bit late on this, but you may want to take a look at some of
my thesis on modified bone.  I'm not sure how much would have bearing on
your project as my study focused on prehistoric Florida collections only.
You may find some of the experimental work of use, though. I have not
published the article yet, so the thesis is the one to cite. It is
