[Bonetools] roman tool

Thank you for all your useful comments and questions. First of all, I gave you wrong information. It is actually a piece of vertebra! 
I haven't got an interpretation yet for this find; I was looking for parallels, but could only find older examples. This one is dated to the 3rd century AD. As for the use wear, I couldn't see any clear wear, but I hope an expert on use-wear can take a look at it soon.

I agree - this is one case where even a crude (low magnification) use wear study  would be critical. Is this piece Roman or Iron Age?
