[Bonetools] "linen smoother"?

Dear Sonia,
Oops, you're right! Looking for some examples on the internet to post here
I just bumped into this one, I should have had a better look at the picture
:)
By the way, do you know some references / publications about such tools?
The seam smoothers from Assendelft / Krommenie (The Netherlands) are made
of cattle metapodia (sometimes with a piece of wood in it) and are highly
polished, some of them on the whole surface.
