[Bonetools] strange artefact

Dear Christian,

Following Alice, it recalls me of similar artefacts we have but for the roman period (mid- Ist C. AD), of which we have 5 pieces in Avenches-Aventicum, also found calcinated in burial context and which I interpretated as fasteners (A. Schenk, Regard sur la tabletterie antique. Les objets en os, bois de cerf et ivoire du Musée Romain d'Avenches, Doc. MRA 15, 2008, fig. 106, n° 366-367).

Hi Christian,
It's interesting that one lip appears sharper than the other.  Could it be a spool or weight of some kind used for fiber working?
