The 'flute' is a children's toy with a flute on one end. Is the fragment also from a children's toy?
Thanks for your help.

Dear MR,
I received your first image yesterday at home on a tiny sreen. It was someting as dinosaur's bone in anthracite mine without electric light...
I could not see the material, just the typical annular depression of an lathe work going bad and worth... Can you clear your images ?
I have a fragment of flute (???) remembering those of the paper you sent to us. Do you want I send you a slide ?
Goret, avec-vous une version electronique d'image de ce fragment de Château-Thierry ?
Your's / bien à vous.
