Dear colleagues, I have a question concerning these three objects found in two graves (ILL-B 175 & VEN-489, 6th-7th s. AD) in Alsace (France). VEN-489 was associated with some fragments of a ivory ring. Could all of these objects deal with the longitudinal section of an elephant tusk ? Many thanks in advance for your response.
All the best. Olivier.
