[Bonetools] bifurcation

Dear Isabelle,
   I KNEW I had seen something like this somewhere. I know just what cKarl
means about that nagging sense of deja vue. Wherther the objects are
connected with Isabelle's I don't know but it is certainly the best analogu
so far...
