Dear Sarah, dear Lisa,

some days ago you posted the attached proposal for a new
Zooarchaeology and Bone Technology Interest Group (ZBTIG) for the
Society for American Archaeology to ZOOARCH. I forwarded this message
to BONETOOL, the mailing list of the ICAZ Worked Bone Research Group
(WBRG), as it was obviously of interest for the colleagues there.

Your proposal evoked quite an amount of interest and a short
discussion followed leading to the consensus that your proposal is a
good idea in bringing the research on worked bones forward. The WBRG
would like to offer you to advertise your group proposal within the
news section of the WBRG website:
option=com_content&task=view&id=2&Itemid=3)
When the new working group will have been founded physically we can
also offer to link you to the WBRG-website (http://www.wbrg.net) and
avertise your activities there and within the BONETOOL mailing list.

We hope that the two groups will cooperate from the very beginning of
your new working group and that there will be a fruitful exchange of
knowledge, information, contacts etc.

If you want me to advertise your proposal as offered, please let me
know.

With kind regards

Christian
