Dear Marloes,

Similar combs have been found in Spain in some sites of the “Cultura
Ibérica” (Iron Age). Carmona or El Chuche have these combs for example.

You can find a short catalog for ivory combs in attached article from page
28 to the end.

Hope it could help.

Laura

Asunto: [Bonetools] ivory combs

Dear all,

A question for our Portuguese and Spanish (Italian?) colleagues or to anyone
who has the answer. Do these double sided ivory combs occur in southern
Europe and in which period or contexts?

Best wishes,

Marloes
