Yes, it is necessary to read Amandry's paper together with mine.
At the very end (last line) of the later, read "jeu d'échecs" instead of 
"jeu d'échec" ; it's a mistake. I apologize.

And... maybe we can play some 31 years later : when looking at (more 
than 10 000 of) these nuckelbones, I found some new inscribed one, among 
which one with the longer "word" :

ΑΒΡΟΚΕ

Nobody knows and nobody seems to care. But the (Bailly"s) dictionnary 
gives ΑΒΡΟΚOMH(Sigma) = "à la chevelure efféminée ou abondante". What 
about a kind of pederastic inscription ? (what is in the Liddell-Scott 
?). Have you something other ?
